North America (UCAN)
Box Office
To say that Hollywood's days are counted would be an overstatement. The box office revenue in the U.S. and Canada – altogether known as the North American film market – grew by 113 percent between 2020 and 2021. However, the latter result amounted to less than 40 percent of the 11.3-billion-dollar revenue recorded in 2019, before the pandemic. (Statista, May 2023)
